Steviacane® is a sweetener made by balancing rich, cane sugar with the highest-quality stevia. Steviacane combines stevia’s zero-calorie sweetness with the taste and bulking characteristics of cane sugar to create a delicious, 5-calorie per serving sweetness that mimics sugar’s taste, performance, texture and look.
Stevia is a plant from the chrysanthemum family that originates from Paraguay in South America. It has been used as a natural sweetener and flavor enhancer for many centuries. In 2008, high-purity (over 95%) Rebaudioside A, a single molecule from the stevia plant, was cleared by the FDA as GRAS (generally regarded as safe) status for use as a sweetener ingredient in beverage and food products. On a weight basis, high purity Rebaudioside A is up to 300 times sweeter than sugar, has zero calories, has a low glycemic index and is heat and pH stable.

Imperial Sugar Company’s Steviacane is produced and packaged in Savannah, GA. Our product is packed in 50 lb multiwall paper/poly bags and 1600 lb totes.
Storage and Handling
It is recommended that Savannah Gold Free-Flowing Maple Crystals are stored in an odor-free environment at 40 – 100 degree F and less than 50% relative humidity. Recommend usage within 12 months of manufacturing date.
